Description
This package is a specialised vertical transport solution for extreme situations such as high‑rise buildings, top‑floor apartments without elevators, or severely obstructed entry passages. It is intended for large appliances that are too bulky or heavy to be moved through standard indoor stairways – for example, large central air conditioner outdoor units, high‑capacity air‑source water heater tanks, large commercial refrigerators, and extra‑long range hood ducts. The customer pays a deposit for a site survey of the hoisting environment (e.g., roof structure, wall load‑bearing capacity, ground safety zone) and insurance coordination. The final fee is based on the hoisting height (number of floors), lifting weight, presence of obstacles, and the specifications of the hoisting equipment required (electric hoist, winch, or crane).
This service must be performed by a team of certified high‑altitude workers. Before hoisting, we coordinate with the building management and you to establish a ground‑level safety exclusion zone, setting up warning barriers and signs with dedicated spotters to prevent unauthorised entry. In determining the hoisting plan, we prioritise methods that have minimal impact on the building’s exterior, such as using existing equipment platforms or AC unit bays for lifting. We use load‑tested slings, steel wire ropes, and U‑shackles to secure the appliance with a “cross‑cradle” tie‑off method, ensuring the centre of gravity is balanced to prevent overturning during ascent.
During the lift, the operator maintains real‑time communication with the ground controller via two‑way radios and hand signals, controlling a steady, even ascent. As the appliance approaches the target floor’s balcony or window, spotters on that level use guide ropes to pull the unit smoothly indoors, immediately placing it on pre‑laid protective mats to prevent impact. The entire hoisting process is recorded on video as proof of completion. After hoisting, we conduct a thorough visual inspection of the appliance’s exterior in your presence, and both parties sign a confirmation of “no new damage.” Our high‑altitude hoisting service ensures that even residents on upper floors can enjoy the benefits of large appliances without compromise.
