Description

This package is designed specifically for households with children or pets, as well as customers living in earthquake‑prone regions or coastal areas with strong winds, aiming to eliminate the risk of tall, heavy appliances toppling over due to accidental bumps or external forces, thereby removing potential personal safety hazards. Our focus is on appliances with high centres of gravity, narrow bases, or movable parts, including but not limited to: tall multi‑door refrigerators, freezers, floor‑standing wine/beverage coolers, microwave stands (floor type), large flat‑panel televisions (placed on TV stands), floor‑standing air conditioners, large electric heaters, and floor‑standing fans or air purifiers. The deposit paid by the customer is used for our engineer to conduct an on‑site “tip‑over risk assessment.” The final fee is based on the number of units to be secured, wall material (brick, concrete, or drywall), and the specifications and quantity of anti‑tip hardware selected.

Our approach avoids a “one‑size‑fits‑all” rough fixing method, instead offering customised solutions based on the appliance’s characteristics and wall conditions. For heavy units like refrigerators, we typically use a “top rear‑tie” method: a high‑strength nylon webbing or metal anti‑tip chain is connected to the appliance’s rear (often with pre‑drilled mounting holes) and anchored to the load‑bearing wall behind or beside it via expansion bolts. The strap features a tension adjuster that holds the unit against forward tipping while allowing quick release when moving is needed. For televisions placed on stands, we recommend using “tabletop anti‑tip bases” or “L‑shaped anti‑tip brackets” that securely lock the TV to the rear or top of the stand, while remaining hidden behind the screen for aesthetic integrity.

In cases where wall drilling is impossible (e.g., full glass curtain walls, marble cladding), we employ a “counterweight balance method”: adding flat black metal weight plates under the appliance base (concealed by the feet) and securing them to the floor with industrial‑grade double‑sided tape or suction cups. After installation, we conduct a “push‑pull test”: simulating the force of a child climbing or an accidental bump, using a force gauge to verify that the appliance remains stable without shifting or tilting. We also provide a “Fixing Point Inspection Card,” recommending you check the tightness of fixings every quarter for long‑term safety. Though the investment is small, this service adds a tangible safety guarantee for you and your family.
