Description

This package is an “electrical stress test” for new homes or fully renovated properties, focusing on the simultaneous use of all high‑power appliances in a realistic daily scenario. It goes beyond single‑appliance power‑on checks, aiming to verify whether the whole‑house power supply system can handle the peak load when all appliances are running together. Covered appliances include all high‑wattage units throughout the home: central air conditioning / multiple split ACs, electric ovens, induction cooktops, dishwasher heating elements, washer heaters, dryers, instant water heaters, and large electric heaters. The customer pays a deposit, and our electrical engineer visits with clamp meters and thermal imaging cameras. The final fee is based on the number of circuits in the distribution board, the number of devices to be tested, and the workload for generating a professional test report.

Our testing procedure starts at the distribution board: we check whether the main switch and each branch circuit breaker are rated appropriately for the wire gauge, and verify the proper operation of residual current devices (RCDs). We then set all high‑power appliances to their highest‑consumption modes – for example, all air conditioners on maximum heating with highest fan speed, ovens on grill mode, water heaters on maximum temperature, and washers on heated wash. With all appliances running simultaneously, we use a clamp meter to measure the real‑time current on each branch, observing whether the total current approaches the main breaker’s rating. Simultaneously, we use a thermal imager to scan the terminal blocks and breaker surfaces inside the distribution board, checking for abnormal hotspots.

We also simulate the “worst‑case condition”: turning on all kitchen heating appliances, bathroom water heaters, and living room high‑power ACs at the same time for a continuous 15‑minute run, observing whether the main breaker or any branch breaker trips due to overload. After the test, we provide a detailed “Whole‑House Appliance Load Test Report,” recording current readings, temperature data, and assessment conclusions for each circuit. If we detect insufficient capacity or potential overheating risks, we offer professional recommendations for upgrades (e.g., replacing with higher‑rated breakers, rebalancing load distribution). This service effectively prevents nuisance tripping and ensures the safe, stable operation of all your home appliances.
